Reggae Musician Captain Barkey Shot Dead In The Bronx!
“Please, no!”, a woman begged before her former lover shot her dead in the parking lot of a Bronx motel early morning, police sources and witnesses said.
Blood-curdling screams woke up guests at the Holiday Motel at 3 a.m. when the woman’s ex-boyfriend allegedly pumped rounds into her companion for the night.
Friends identified the slain man as reggae musician from Milwaukee “Wayne Hamilton”, who goes by the stage name “Captain Barkey”.
After killing Hamilton, the shooter chased the woman, 38-year-old Tracy Bennett, to the back of the hotel. She pleaded for her own life before she too was shot dead.
This Story was carried by New York Post. Glam personally knew Captain Barkey as a man filled with life. This is what his very best friend Wickerman had to say.
“Mi warn him nuff time because the man is a serious man….him all run down Barkey and the woman already and broadside him car, and Barkey still never waan hear,” a teary Wickerman told one876entertainment.com.
“Mi warn the man man countless times, and the woman married, and she nah lef the man and she still have Barkey. The man trail dem nuff times, and is like the man did waan kill the woman long time but him ah wait till him get she and Barkey together before him do nothing.”
Such a sad end to a love triangle. Are we all monsters that we kill in the name of love? Love should not hurt. The killer is a very selfish person. Two lives lost for the sake of love, now that person is on the run.
People!!! love and hate are not roommates, if you think you are in love and you feel pain, then love don’t live there anymore. Stop saying you are in love when all it is jealously. The two are not Bff. If you think you are in danger then get out. Our condolences to the Barkey Family at this sad time. We will keep you our readers updated as this story unfolds.
