WHAT: HOT 97’s “Street Soldiers w/ Lisa Evers” 6th annual Push 4 Peace Town Hall event takes over Brooklyn Borough Hall this Saturday, in partnership with Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams. The purpose is to bring together youth, community leaders, artists, athletes and entertainers to focus on solutions and alternatives to violence. This year, a strong focus will be on improving police-community relations. The Town Hall will air as a special episode of “Street Soldiers” on Sunday, July 31st on HOT 97. It will also air as a special two-part TV special on FOX 5 on Saturday, August 6th & 13th at 10:30pm ET. Lisa Evers says, “Use your mind; it’s your best weapon. I hope it’s your only weapon. Let’s push 4 peace!”

· Celebrity Selfie Stroll – Walk the red carpet & get your pic taken with celebrities like Mariahlynn of “Love & Hip Hop New York”; TV star Somaya BOSS Reece of E!; “Famously Single” & NFL Star/former NY Jet, Tony Richardson; new Brooklyn Nets star, Isaiah Whitehead; Hip Hop artist Grafh; artist & host Torae; and many more

· Hip Hop Gamer takes on any & all challengers in video game competitions

· More than 2 dozen community groups & youth leaders will showcase their work.

3pm-4:30pm: “Street Soldiers” Host Lisa Evers moderates a panel that includes prominent attorney, Kenyatta Stewart; activist, Tamika Mallory; rapper, Grafh; former NYPD Lieutenant, Darrin Porcher; NFL Star & community supporter Tony Richardson; and youth leader, Shanduke McPhatter of GMACC. Plus comments from the crowd on “Surviving the Streets.”
